FALL

Gosh, I really need to step up my blogging efforts. I don't have any interesting news except for the fact that I'm still loving being a mommy to my precious Stella. Every day is special! I'll leave you with a few pictures of my sweet girl in some beautiful fall colors.

Picnic Weather

Aunt Sis suggested that we meet at Kiwanis Park for lunch today since the weather was beautiful. Great idea, Sis! We had fun. I love to spend time with my family!

The Soybean Festival

We went to the Soybean Festival in Martin tonight with Papa, Nana, and Ramzi. The girls had lots of fun and we were excited that they were allowed to ride a few things.

After rides, we stayed to listen to Kansas perform. The girls really loved the music, too. There was lots of dancing and giggling. Several times tonight when we'd stand still with their strollers side by side, they would hold hands. It was adorable. I think it's so sweet that they get along so well and have fun together.

Stella's Favorite Songs & Number

Stella has two favorite songs that she wants me to play on my iPhone all of the time. "Love on Top" by Beyonce' and "You Brought the Sunshine" by The Clark Sisters. She'll go about her business around the house and then the music hits her once again and she has to dance. Most of the time, she has to have the iPhone in her hand. She has some new, sweet dance moves! Unfortunately, she noticed I had the camera on and was frozen for the last 30 seconds or so of the first video. I apologize for not taking the time to edit.





I'm working on counting with Stella. So far we're stuck at 2, her favorite number. If you count to 3 or 5, she'll just keep repeating 2. I catch her sorting her toys and saying 2 over and over again. She even holds her little fingers up for two, or maybe it's just a peace sign. :) I hope she continues with her favorite number at least until her birthday in January.

Happy Labor Day

Labor Day = long weekend! The past few days have been wonderful. We've had absolutely no plans and have just been able to lounge and enjoy our time together. The more time we get to spend at home one on one with Stella, the more we realize how fast she is growing! Not only does she look older, but we are amazed daily at how much she is learning. She repeats words constantly and has added many to her vocabulary lately. She recognizes so many words now and knows exactly what we say and ask of her. I am daily amazed at what she comprehends and ask myself sometimes when and how she picked up on certain things. It's so fun to watch her grow!

Stella wasn't happy with how long it took to begin our Labor Day feast. She brought her favorite blanket to the kitchen and decided that she needed to rest.
